Scripture of the Day
Thursday, July 2, 2026
“
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
A new scripture is displayed each day — drawn from our foundational passages of faith.
Start Your Day With God
Give God the first portion of your day. Before the noise of the world begins, draw near — and He will draw near to you.
6:00
AM
Begin with thanksgiving — acknowledge God as Lord of your day before any other voice speaks into it. Surrender your plans, your worries, and your will into His hands.
Psalm 5:3
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
6:15
AM
Read one passage slowly. Do not rush. Let the Word settle in your heart. Ask: What does this say about God? What does it say about me? What is He asking me to do?
Joshua 1:8
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night.
6:30
AM
Pray for others — your family, your community, the nations of Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Worcester. Stand in the gap for souls who do not yet know His name.
1 Timothy 2:1
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.

Close Your Day With God
End your day in His presence. Lay down what you carried today and receive His peace that surpasses all understanding.
7:00
PM
Review your day in the light of God's Word. Where did you see His hand? Where did you fall short? Bring both to Him with honesty and receive His grace afresh.
Lamentations 3:22–23
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning.
7:15
PM
Read a Psalm or a passage from the Gospels. Let the Word be the last voice you engage with before the world quiets down. Let it guard your heart through the night.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
7:30
PM
Close with a prayer of surrender. Cast your cares onto Him — for He cares for you. Rest knowing that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
Psalm 121:3–4
He will not let your foot slip — he who watches over you will not slumber.
